ABOUT US

Northern Quarter is a 130 capacity venue in the centre of Huddersfield, only a 2minuet walk away from the train station and on the same road as high quality independent restaurants, cafes and other bars.  We host live music, soundsystem nights, open mics, poetry, workshops, lectures, art installations and theatre with an emphasis on the local scene and culture from near and far.  At the heart of the venue is a hand built, custom PA system, made by one of the UKs leading designers of vintage amps and speakers and author of ‘Sound System Culture; Celebrating Huddersfield’s Sound System’, Paul Huxtable.
